PRIMORDIAL BLACK is a Tunisian Avant-Garde metal project led by Yasser Mahammedi Bouzina, blending extreme metal with ritual atmospheres, industrial textures, and philosophical themes, alongside the exceptional guitar work of Walid Chaaben and the relentless drumming of Selim Bouladi.
For live and studio reinforcement, the band collaborates with bassist Walter Rehouma, whose precise and dynamic playing brings additional depth and weight to PRIMORDIAL BLACK’s sonic architecture.
His contribution strengthens the low-end foundation while seamlessly integrating with the project’s dense and atmospheric compositions.

Following the release of their debut EP MONAS HIEROGLYPHICA, the band quickly established a dark and esoteric sonic identity.

Known for delivering major releases every year since its inception, PRIMORDIAL BLACK merges crushing riffs, cinematic soundscapes, and occult-inspired concepts.

 

Their debut album DARK MATTER MANIFESTO features Sakis Tolis (From Greek Powerhouse ROTTING CHRIST) and multidisciplinary artist Maxime Taccardi (K.F.R - كافر, OSCULUM SERPENTIS & KYUKETSUKI) 
 

PRIMORDIAL BLACK has received close to 60 international reviews and press features, with critics praising the band’s immersive sound, cinematic scope, and uncompromising vision within modern black metal.

Their debut album DARK MATTER MANIFESTO was notably awarded “Album of the Year” by Mexican METALPEDIA, further highlighting the band’s growing international recognition.
